1. Remove foil: Remove foil cap before pulling cork. Press the cutting wheels of the foil cutter against the foil cap while turning bottle. If wine bottle has a wax seal, remove before pulling cork. 2. Insert corkscrew: Raise lever and place the lever corkscrew on the bottle. Squeeze gripping handles firmly around the neck of the bottle and lower lever. 3. Remove cork. Remove cork from bottle by raising lever while firmly squeezing gripping handles on bottle neck. 4. Eject cork: Release the cork from the corkscrew by lowering lever until it clicks. Raise lever while squeezing gripping handles firmly. Do not remove by hand. 5. Replace spiral: Replace spiral after about 1,000 cork pulls. To replace spiral, unscrew round nut with the lever in the down position. Replace spiral. Screw round nut back on place.
